Formerly The Queen's Hotel, the building has been completely renovated and partially rebuilt to form the beautiful boutique Malmaison hotel.
There are 80 bedrooms in total, each decorated in Malmaison's usual moody and sumptuous fashion with a range of modern facilities. Linens are Egyptian cotton, pillows are duck feather and of course all amenities are of an equally high quality. There are power showers in the bathrooms and oversized toiletries which you are encouraged to take home with you.
Serving a tasty menu full of local ingredients, the Brasserie is promises a great dining experience. The main bar is a contemporary and classy affair serving wines, champagnes and cocktails but for those who prefer a more Scottish alcohol there is the unique Whisky Snug.
