Norwood Hall Hotel Description

Norwood Hall is a beautiful Victorian mansion, built in 1887 on the site of Pitfodels Castle. The hotel is set in 7 acres of its own wooded grounds and offers guests an excellent retreat from the busy city centre.
The hotel retains many of the original features of the house and certainly offers a glimpse of days gone by with its stained glass, wood panelling and ornate staircases. There are 36 bedrooms in total, some in the original building and others in the newer annexe. All rooms are decorated to a high standard yet retain a historical ambience. Facilities are just as you would expect from a hotel of this standard and include television, hairdryer, telephone and tea/coffee facilities. Some bedrooms have wi-fi internet access, although there is a charge for this.
The restaurant, decorated in ornate tapestries, is open for dinner and specialises in meals created with the finest local ingredients. Guests may enjoy a pre dinner drink in the wood panelled library lounge on a whisky in from of the log fire in the Georgian lounge.
