Thistle Aberdeen Altens is the largest of the three Thistle hotels in Aberdeen. Traditionally known as the Granite City, thanks to its distinctive architecture, Aberdeen earned the title Energy Capital of Europe after the discovery of North Sea oil in the 1970s.
